Modesty Poem-"You're a Temple" by Abigail

You’re a temple of the Living God.
Your heart should be His altar stone.
Your life should be the sacrifice
Offered to God alone.

God clothed His whole temple
In linen and hangings of blue
In velvet and scarlet.
You should be covered, too.

Your body is a sacred thing
Holy vessels are covered
In reverence and honor,
Because they are beloved.
You’re a temple of the Living God.
Your heart should be His altar stone.
Your life should be the sacrifice
Offered to God alone

I think this poem is nice and easy to understand! Everything in it is simple and not hard to read. The words are so true!!

Tomorrow we are leaving for the Lake Itasca Family Bluegrass Festival.  The Wissmanns and several other Christian bluegrass families will be there! I am also looking forward to meeting miss Becca Charity there. We met on Buzz (a Google version of Facebook) through my best friend Amanda, and this will be our first time meeting!!
Then on Sunday the Wissmanns are coming to our church to do a concert. After that, I'm leaving for camp!!
Yep, we have a really busy week.

What a challenging poem--very lovely! Thanks Lulu!

When do you start school? For us, it's next Monday. *tear*. Actually, I'm excited. Well, sad and enthusiastic at the same time. :D
