A dear person in my life, Andrea, started a blog today!

Andrea is in college, and I miss seeing her beautiful and smiley face at church every Sunday!

She used to have a Bible study for younger girls, which I attended almost every Saturday! She is so godly, sweet, and FUN to be around!

valentine's day is about love, sacrifice, and friendship.

i am blessed with lots of people that love and support me.

and always will, no matter what happens.

no matter what i do or say.

one definition of love=sacrifice.

you can't truly love someone without sacrificing for them.

the best example you can get of love is jesus.

and jesus sacrificed.

jesus' sacrifice was the ultimate sacrifice.

it finished everything.

he said so.

'it is finished'.

remember, love isn't a noun. it's a verb.

it's not a feeling. it's an action.

so have a very happy valentine's day,

well, hello

hey, everyone.

it's been quite a long time since i've posted on this lovely little blog!

i'm busy.

i forget about this.

i'm busy in 8th grade.

i have piano to practice,

violin,

and cello.

which i need to practice more of.

well, i have a life,

and blogging isn't my top priority.

and frankly, it shouldn't be anyone's top priority,

or even on your top 10 priorities.

just a little bitty, itsy bitsy, teeny weeny little reminder to y'all...

to keep your priorities straight.

by the way, this is something i do struggle with.

frequently.

also, next week, i'm turning fourteen!

 i'm having my four closest friends, plus another friend that i want to get to know better, for a sleepover! before the sleepover, we'll go to a movie (War Horse, rated PG-13), Tutti Frutti (deliciouuus frozen yogurt. my favorite. my first love.), and the mall. ;) i am absolutely EXCITED.

That's life.

Life brings twists and turns, ups and downs, and disappointments. You may think one thing but someone else tells you another. That's life. We all need to get used to getting told 'no' because the more we're used to it the less we're disappointed when we are told no. Make sense?
Today I was met with a disappointment - I was planning a shopping date with one of my besties but my dad said I can't go, that I need to stay around here. I was very upset (I'm still getting over it) but my mom assured me that we will work something else out and that the world isn't over yet!

Oh, by the way - Happy New Year 2012! What are y'all doing? We are having family out and staying up until midnight (and beyond!). I can barely wait for the festivities to begin!

We had our Christmas present opening a day early this year!

I got: 

a $15 iTunes gift card,

a CAMCORDER!

a tripod for the camcorder

personalized towels

a devotional book

Skittles body wash, shampoo, lotion, and lip gloss!

Mom must've been a good girl this year, 'cuz she got a brand-new desktop computer and a white iPhone 4S with a purple case! Great, now both of my parents have iPhones:)
