Jack Anton Kent

Hola~I've neglected to post about the arrival of my brand-new baby boy cousin Jack Anton Kent S!!! He is a sweet little bundle of joy--and simply scrumptious to hold! He's got amazing blonde hair (but not very much) and charming blue eyes. When we went to visit him and his mommy and daddy in the hospital I was charmed instantly! It's just something about newborn babies!! I love how they look, feel, and sound!!! =D Congrats, tia, tio, lizzie, livvie, and luke!!! (tia means aunt in Spanish and Tio means uncle...)

Also~I've taken up the language Spanish!!! I love learning new words and practicing my Spanish skills (well.......could you call it skill???) on my family!!!

Adios Amigas (maybe amigos???), Tu Amiga,
Lulu

...I didn't say I was good at it. :) I'm actually pretty bad, I just know the basics, like some food, clothing, colors, and numbers 1-10. =D

Thanks for another post!

I know more but don't want to list it all here....=D we had the opportunity to take a Mexican family that our church supports(they are Christians and the father is a pastor in Mexico) out to eat at Pizza Ranch! They have 4 children~Naomi (Jireh, 18) Leonel (16), Abraham (14) and Abi Sai (12), and of course parents. It was fun trying to communicate with them--the three boys and the mama didn't know English--but the father and Jireh did. It was especially nice getting to Jireh, and she helped me with whatever Spanish word I wanted to know. They are truly a blessing to Mexico and to me! =D I even asked Leonel:
"Como estas?"
"Mucho gusto." he answered. And we were able to converse pretty well throughout the evening!

Adios Amigas.
