Lauren from Spinning Barefoot

Congratulations, Lauren! I will give you an optional prize -- a deluxe blog design by me. I know you already have a design {which is amazingly beautiful} and I won't feel bad if you don't want it. If you don't want it, let me know and I'll save it for another contest. :) Just let me know in a comment.

2. baila, chiquita!

What!?!? If you know Spanish, you know that 'baila chiquita' means 'dance, little girl' or 'dance, chick'. So the story behind the title is: we had a friend over for the day and we made up a pretty awesome dance routine to the Rubyz' song 'Umbrella'. The Rubyz {they're some pretty awesome girls} actually took this song from a secular pop group and twisted it up a bit and made it beautiful! :) It was such a blast. We put on makeup and curled our hair. Thanks for the great day, Becca! {I have a couple of pictures which I'll post later!}

3. blizzard

In our area we had a terrible blizzard that lasted a few days. I think it got to negative 30 degrees! Fahrenheit! :) So we have gobs of snow and we were 'snowed in' from Wednesday to Sunday. :) We got 'cabin fever' and were glad to be able to go to town yesterday to go to church, see a movie, go out to eat, and go to our grandma's to see Extreme Makeover: The Grommesh Family on TV.

4. new year party

Since we were snowed in for New Year's Eve, we stayed home. It was pretty fun. We made party hats and noisemakers to help ring in the new year. We watched a movie, ate popcorn & soda, played games, talked, and listed goals for 2011, plus we went over fun & memorable things that happened in 2010. We had a blast and stayed up until 1:00 AM.

5. the Rubyz

They are my new favorite music group! They're a pair of teenage girls, Alexis and Cammie, teaming up to create awesome, upbeat music, that glorifies God. I'm more of a pop girl and love those kind of songs. I love their version of 'Umbrella' and 'City on its Knees'. I was so pleased to find them on iTunes so now I can listen to them on my iPod. Yaya. :)

Blessings,
~Lulu~

Ooh! Yea! :) Do you make sidebar/post titles? Otherwise I have been curious about having another button, just to give people an option. :)

Let me know :)

Blessings,
~Lauren

Congratulations to Lauren on being the photography winner! No offense, Lauren, I didn't vote for your photo, but who cares! It's a gorgeous picture anyway! You have amazing photography skills. ;)

Your misc. monday was so fun to read through again, Lulu! Thanks for sharing!

Hugs,
~Lily~

P.S. I love getting 'snowed in' too! =D

question for Lulu: why don't you like long comments?!
